With a diverse SME-focused client base across sectors such as hospitality, property, music and franchising, the firm is known for its collaborative, client-centred approach.Due to continued growth, the Dublin office is seeking to appoint a Tax Director. This role will suit an ambitious tax professional with a minimum of five years' experience at manager level in practice, comfortable working closely with partners and senior management and contributing to the development of a growing team. The role offers a strong mix of compliance and advisory work, with aclear and defined pathway to Partnerfor the right individual.What The Role InvolvesManaging and developing relationships with a portfolio of SME clientsCoordinating team workflows to ensure timely delivery of corporate tax compliance across a broad client baseManaging and reviewing a portfolio of personal tax clientsLeading a range of advisory assignments, including planning and structuring workLeading Revenue audit assignments across various tax headsSupporting departmental financial objectives and fee developmentMentoring junior team members and contributing to internal trainingStrengthening client relationships and supporting business developmentWorking with partners on technical development and practice growthJob RequirementsCTA qualified with at least five years' experience at manager level in practiceStrong experience managing tax compliance portfolios and ensuring quality, accuracy and deadlinesExposure to tax consultancy assignments and delivering practical advisory solutionsStrong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation, commentary and case law, particularly for SME clientsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational, planning and time-management skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesHigh level of computer literacyAll applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.Patrick O'Rourke is a Professional Services Recruitment Specialist, experienced in placing candidates from entry to Partner level.
