Lead Academic for Funds Strategy
The successful candidate will take on a pivotal role in the strategic direction of our academic programmes, including teaching and research initiatives. This involves managing projects related to industry engagement, focusing on the investment funds sector in the region.
* Develop and deliver curriculum aligned with industry trends and organisational goals
* Provide expert input on existing and new courses, ensuring academic quality and relevance
* Maintain accurate records, providing necessary information as required by management
* Promote academic excellence through student recruitment and outreach initiatives
* Contribute to the development and implementation of academic quality assurance frameworks
This position reports directly to the Head of Department and is based at our Cork Campus. The role may involve travel between campuses.
Key Requirements:
* Essential: A postgraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognised institution
* At least 5 years of experience in academia or a related field
* Proven expertise in the funds industry, with the ability to represent the organisation externally
Desirable: Masters Level qualification, lecturing experience or academic leadership
