We deliver expert insight to our audiences across print, digital and social; as well as awards and exhibitions. We are seeking an experienced journalist to take on this role and represent the brand.The roleAs Editor, you will be responsible both for creating and writing content for our website, weekly e-news and bi-monthly print magazine. This is a varied and hands-on role that spans across digital content, attending in-person events, social media creation and writing magazine articles, .Key responsibilities:Write and edit high-quality editorial content that inspires our professional audienceProduce online and social media output to ensure timely, relevant and engaging contentEnsure delivery of Professional Beauty HJ magazine across print and digital platformsCollaborate with contributors, designers and the sales team to deliver each issueRepresent Professional Beauty HJ at industry events (sometimes outside of normal working hours) and maintain strong relationships with professionals, brands and partnersAbout youYou understands content and can hit the ground running. You'll be equally comfortable producing social and online content as you are writing features and liaising with key clients. A passion for beauty and hairdressing is desirable.Skills and experience required:Proven content experienceA solid digital understanding with experience in CMS, SEO and content schedulingExcellent writing skillsConfident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levelsDay to DayWe will consider full time or part time applicant and can offer flexibility over working hours .You'll be working from home with an in-person catch-up once a week with colleagues in Dublin.
