**Job Title:**
A leading manufacturer of precision injection moulded and assembled components is currently seeking an experienced Toolmaker. This permanent role is based in County Westmeath, Ireland.

Operating from a modern manufacturing facility, the company supports customers across Europe and globally. Responsibilities include:
• Perform scheduled tool maintenance pre- and post-production, as well as support reactive maintenance during production.
• Carry out incoming verification on tool spares procured.
• Review and maintain plastic injection tools, jigs, and fixtures as required.
• Fully dismantle, clean, polish, inspect for wear, report findings, and reassemble tools.
• Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance activities.
• Perform root cause investigations as needed and support corrective actions to address quality and process issues.
• Participate in validation of new products and equipment when required.
Requirements:
• Toolmaker Qualification
• Experience with hot runner and valve gate systems, including wiring
• Strong background in repair and maintenance of injection moulding tools
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with plastic injection moulding, over-moulding, and 2-shot moulding processes
