Deco Engineering are one of Europe's fastest growing MEP Contractors, providing solutions for major Hyperscale and Enterprise Data Centre clients. With regional offices across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, we support critical data infrastructure projects across Europe.As our European project portfolio continues to expand, we are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive new opportunities, deepen client relationships and accelerate Deco's growth across Europe.This is a key strategic hire within our organisation and is suited to an ambitious, commercially driven professional with strong experience in the Data Centre, Engineering and Construction sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales GrowthIdentify and secure new business opportunities across Europe with Hyperscale, Enterprise and Tier-1 Data Centre clients.Conduct structured site visits, client meetings and follow-ups to maintain a strong client pipeline.Prepare proposals, pricing, commercial submissions and forecasting in line with Deco's strategy.Represent Deco at industry events, conferences and networking engagements to strengthen our brand presence.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders across multiple European regions.Understand client challenges and develop tailored MEP project and construction solutions.Gather client feedback and ensure continuous improvement through internal collaboration.Operational & Coordination SupportLiaise with the wider Deco teams to ensure seamless mobilisation and delivery of MEP packages.Support client onboarding, documentation, commercial administration and project coordination.Maintain accurate CRM records, weekly activity reports and sales performance metrics.Market Intelligence & StrategyConduct market research to identify trends, project pipelines and competitor activity.Support senior management with strategic planning, sales forecasting and business development reporting.Contribute to Deco's growth strategy in new regions and sectors.What We're Looking ForMinimum 2–3 years' experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management within the Data Centre or MEP, Engineering sectors (essential).Proven ability to win business and build strong client partnerships at senior level.Highly motivated, ambitious and confident in a technical, fast-paced environment.Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.Strong IT, CRM and reporting skills.Ability to travel regularly across Europe as required.Full driving licence.What We OfferCompetitive salary €70,000 – €80,000, plus performance-based bonus.Clear opportunities for career progression in a rapidly growing European contractor.Exposure to major Tier-1 Data Centre and advanced technology projects across Europe.Supportive and collaborative company culture.Opportunity to be part of Deco's long-term growth journey.Job Type: Full-timePay: €70,000.00-€80,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
