Proclinical is seeking an Automation Engineer to contribute to impactful pharmaceutical projects by designing and commissioning DeltaV-based batch systems. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy solving complex automation challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will play a critical part in ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and delivering high-quality automation solutions.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement DeltaV automation solutions, including hardware configuration, control modules, and graphics.
* Design and validate batch recipes in line with ISA-88 standards and GMP requirements.
* Support lifecycle management of batch processes, including optimization, troubleshooting, and change control.
* Lead commissioning activities such as FAT, SAT, and IQ-OQ protocols for automation systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions on time and within scope.
* Ensure all automation work adheres to regulatory standards (GMP, GAMP5) and is fully documented.
Key Skills and Requirements
* Proficiency with Emerson DeltaV systems in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
* Strong understanding of ISA-88 batch control principles.
* Hands-on experience in commissioning and qualification of automation systems.
* Familiarity with GMP, GAMP5, and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple project timelines.
* A degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field is preferred.
* Experience with MES integration or other control platforms is a plus.
* Willingness to travel occasionally for project execution.
