Job Description:
The Care Specialist will provide direct care and support to children with disabilities, working in collaboration with the Deputy Manager and PIC to ensure a high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Educate yourself about each service user's needs and how their disability affects them.
* Conduct assessments and report on individual progress.
* Support the day-to-day running of the service, taking ownership of your workload and contributing to team goals.
* Organise and deliver staff training through goal-setting and supervision.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team.
As a senior member of the team, you will lead by example, chairing meetings, setting agendas, and ensuring actions are followed up. You will also provide guidance and support to staff members, promoting a culture of teamwork and professional development.
This role requires flexibility, including shift work, weekends, and night duties. You will be part of the on-call management rota and expected to maintain confidentiality at all times.
