OverviewMy client is seeking an experienced tax advisor to join their growing accountancy practice. The successful candidate will work with the tax manager and assist in the management of all aspects of tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs and sole traders. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, client relationship skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesTax CompliancePrepare corporation tax and income tax returnsPrepare and file tax returns across all tax heads: Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Capital Acquisitions TaxReview work prepared by the accounts departmentEnsure timely filing and compliance with Irish Revenue requirementsTax AdvisoryProvide advice on tax planning, restructuring, and succession planningResearch and resolve complex tax queries and communicate findings clearlyRevenue InteractionManage Revenue audits and correspondenceClient ManagementAct as the main point of contact for tax queriesBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsSkillsStrong knowledge of Irish tax legislation and Revenue proceduresExcellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage multiple deadlinesStrong communication skills and client-focused approachQualifications & ExperienceChartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification from the Irish Tax Institute (or working towards it)Additional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) is an advantageMinimum 2-years’ experience in practiceStrong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislationExcellent communication and client-facing skillsAbility to manage deadlines and work independentlyCompetitive Salary on offer - Contact Mairead.duignan@forcerecruitment.com
