The position offers a fantastic opportunity for career growth within a leading Chartered Accountancy firm in the Southeast and is based in Co. Kilkenny.
Who We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified/part-qualified and have at least two years of experience in a practice or finance environment.
Key Responsibilities: Ensuring the accurate completion of client bookkeeping to facilitate timely preparation of monthly accounts.
Overseeing VAT returns, RCT, and PSWT submissions as required.
Conducting account reconciliations and analysis up to trial balance.
Preparing monthly and quarterly management reports.
Assisting with month-end and year-end processes, including audit preparation.
Managing multiple client accounts, ensuring key deadlines and deliverables are met.
Providing clients with financial insights and recommendations.
Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Skills & Requirements: Strong proficiency in Excel.
Experience with Sage, Xero, Dext, or AutoEntry is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and solid technical knowledge.
Commercial awareness and a passion for helping businesses grow.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and innovation skills.
Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
