We are currently recruiting for Grade III Clerical Officers based in Mallow, Co.Cork. Please see details below:
Full time - 35hrs per week (Must be available 5/7, includes weekends and evenings)
Hours based on shifts that range between 8am - 8pm.
Temporary 3 month initial contract.
Pay scale - €16.32 - €25.71 per hour based off previous verified relevant public sector experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
* Assist in patient registration, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
* Handle telephone and email queries professionally, ensuring confidentiality.
* Process and manage medical records, reports, and documentation in line with hospital policies.
* Support the finance team with billing, invoicing, and processing claims if required.
* Maintain stock levels of office supplies and request orders as needed.
* Adhere to data protection and confidentiality policies when handling patient information.
* Assist in coordinating meetings, minutes, and reports for various hospital departments.
* Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum of one year’s clerical/administrative experience in a busy office environment.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
* Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR requirements.
Must be available to start immediately following a successful pre-employment check.
