Toolmaker Job Description
This role involves the design, construction, and maintenance of tools used in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manufacturing, repairing, and servicing all tools, jigs, and fixtures.
2. Setting up tools in presses ranging from 50 to 500 tons.
3. Operating, setting, and programming CNC, PLC, and robotic machines.
4. Monitoring machine performance and tool longevity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualified Toolmaker
* Post-apprentice experience of 2-4 years
* Experience in press tool maintenance and repair works
* CNC, PLC, and robotic programming knowledge an advantage
