Our client is a well-established hotel group with multiple high-performing properties across Leinster. Known for exceptional guest experiences, strong brand values, and a commitment to excellence, the group continues to expand its portfolio and strengthen its market position. We are now seeking an experienced and commercially minded Group Sales Manager / Commercial Director to lead the commercial and sales strategy across the portfolio. Role Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the commercial performance of the hotel group leading all revenue-generating departments including sales, marketing, reservations, and revenue management. This is a strategic, hands-on role that combines leadership, business development, and commercial acumen to deliver sustainable growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the groups commercial strategy to maximise revenue across accommodation, F&B, conference, and leisure segments. Lead and motivate the sales and marketing teams to deliver on sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Oversee revenue management strategy, ensuring optimal rate structures, market segmentation, and yield performance across all properties. Identify new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, and MICE sectors, developing key partnerships to enhance market share. Work closely with General Managers to align local sales efforts with group-level objectives and brand positioning. Monitor and analyse performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions. Develop and manage annual sales and marketing budgets, ensuring ROI and efficient resource allocation. Collaborate with digital marketing teams to drive direct bookings, online presence, and brand visibility. Represent the group at trade shows, networking events, and key industry functions. Support the senior leadership team in strategic planning, business forecasting, and long-term development initiatives. Candidate Profile Proven track record in a senior commercial or sales leadership role within the hospitality sector (multi-property or group experience desirable). Strong understanding of revenue management, digital marketing, and business development principles. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams across multiple locations. Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Established network within the Irish and UK hospitality or corporate travel markets. Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term execution. Highly professional, proactive, and results-oriented.
