About this Role
As a DevSecOps Engineer at Agridence, you will play a key role in embedding security into every stage of our software delivery lifecycle. You'll ensure that the platform's cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes adhere to the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and security.
You'll work closely with developers, data engineers, and product teams to build secure and automated workflows — enabling faster, safer releases while maintaining compliance with sustainability and data protection standards. This is a hands-on role that combines security engineering, DevOps automation, and cloud infrastructure expertise within a high-impact agritech environment.
What You Will Do
* Design, implement and maintain, secure CI/CD pipelines that integrate automated security testing tools.
* Embed security practices across the software developmnet lifecycle (SDLC)
* Collaborate with developers, operations and security teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities early
* Automate security scanning for dependencies, containers, and infrastructure (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC)
* Manage and monitor cloud security configurations (GCP, Azure or AWS) and code security configurations
* Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
* Develop and enforce security policies, controls and best practices for code (VCS), systems and networks
* Conduct threat modeling, infrastructure disaster recovery and risk assessments for new features and architectures
* Monitor system health and security events using observability and SIEM tools
* Drive a culture of "Security by Design" across engineering teams
* Champion best practices related to automation, cloud management, and DevOps culture
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
* 5-8 years of expeirence in DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles
* Strong spoken and written in English is required as this role requires to work with other teams based in Singapore, India, and Europe
* Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Github Actions, or CircleCl)
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
* Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Hands-on with security tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Trivy, OWASP ZAP, or Aqua
* Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation)
* Understanding of network and application security concepts
* Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
* Strong collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
* Analytical mindset with attention to details
