Job Title: Café Manager
Reporting to: Founder & CEO
Location: All Saints Drive, Clontarf East, Co. Dublin, Ireland.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Café Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our café. The Manager will oversee all aspects of café operations, including staff management, customer experience, stock control, and financial performance. Acting as the face of the café, the Manager will foster a welcoming environment for customers while driving high standards of quality, service, and efficiency.
The Café Manager will inspire and lead the team—aligning staff around a clear vision for excellent customer service and smooth operations, while ensuring the café runs efficiently and profitably. Working closely with the owners and senior staff, the Manager will also contribute to the development of new ideas, promotions, and improvements that keep the café thriving.
You will also play a key role in shaping the café's reputation—both in-store and online—by maintaining high standards, motivating the team, and building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. With autonomy to make decisions that drive success, this is a role where leadership, creativity, and operational skill come together.
Role Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage staff rosters to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Recruit, train, support, and develop staff to build a motivated and capable team.
* Oversee stock management, ordering, and relationships with multiple suppliers.
* Lead, support, and manage staff performance and conduct.
* Ensure health, safety, and food hygiene compliance (HSE/HSA checklists and record-keeping).
* Act as the public face of the café, engaging with customers and stakeholders.
* Monitor and respond to customer feedback to continually improve service and offerings.
* Develop and manage the café's social media presence, including creating posts and promotions.
* Design and support local marketing initiatives and seasonal promotions.
* Maintain and set high standards of service, presentation, and efficiency.
* Support financial performance by monitoring costs, waste, and profitability.
* Build positive relationships with the local community and regular customers.
Role Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role (hospitality, café, or restaurant experience desirable).
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage rosters, stock, and supplier relationships effectively.
* Proven leadership skills, with experience in motivating and managing a team.
* Good knowledge of HSE/HSA compliance standards and food safety requirements.
* Confident in using social media to promote the café and engage with customers.
* Flexible, proactive, and comfortable making independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
Key Competencies
* Strong knowledge of café or restaurant operations, including staff management, stock control, health & safety, and customer service.
* Understanding of the hospitality sector, including customer expectations, trends, and competitor activity.

Terms and Conditions
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with shifts across Monday to Sunday.
* Annual Leave: 22 days per year.
* Bonus: Performance-based bonus, linked to both individual and café/company performance.
* Probation: 6-month probation period, during which performance will be reviewed.
