How You'll Make An Impact
* Combine practitioner and management responsibilities to maintain high standards across the service
* Act as Designated Person in Charge in the Manager's absence
* Support recruitment, supervision, training, motivation, and performance management of staff
* Deliver a dynamic emergent curriculum tailored to individual children's needs
* Monitor and maintain all quality, safety, and child protection standards
* Support service development and funding opportunities
* Maintain relationships with external agencies, including Tusla and Early Intervention Teams
* Ensure the building, hygiene, and health & safety standards are maintained
* Act as Deputy Designated Child Protection Liaison Person, Designated First Aid Person, and Designated Fire Safety Person
* Assist during inspections and provide necessary information to Early Years inspectors
What You'll Need To Succeed
*Must-Haves*
* Level 6 in Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 7/8 preferred)
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in an early years setting, preferably with supervisory or leadership experience
* Strong knowledge of inclusive early childhood education and care
* Detailed understanding of current legislation relevant to early years
*Nice-to-Haves*
* Experience leading teams in a childcare setting
* Knowledge of Aistear and Solta frameworks in practice
