This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to work within the BIM Department of the Life Sciences market in Jacobs Ireland and collaborate with BIM Coordinators and project teams to support project delivery. You will support the BIM Section Head and Digital Solutions Group with roll-out of solutions to drive BIM improvements and work with the engineering department and construction management teams to ensure solutions are translated and implemented on projects.
What you’ll be doing
Communication & Reporting
* Report directly to the project BIM Coordinator and/or Spatial Coordinator.
* Indirectly report to the BIM Section Head.
* Communicate opportunities to improve with the BIM Section Head.
Primary Responsibilities
* Support project set-up for cross-discipline teams
* Support model management process for the project
* Support setting up and management of clash detection and reporting
* Support the set up and management of design coordination platform
* Support disciplines with the use of Revit on projects
* Support the set up and management of the Common Data Environment
Other Responsibilities
* Support the production of BIM Execution Plan and Addendums for project execution
* Support the BIM Section Head in implementing solutions to drive efficiency in BIM Execution on projects
The start date for this position is September 2026.
What you’ll need
* Be working towards a relevant Degree or Master’s level qualification in Architectural, BIM or any of the engineering disciplines
* A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward
* Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things
* You must have the permanent right to work in Ireland
