Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation:Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients.Prepare simple dishes, salads, and desserts as instructed.Support senior staff in preparing ingredients and dishes according to menu specifications.Cleaning and Hygiene:Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.Clean kitchen equipment, floors, and surfaces according to cleaning schedules.Ensure all food storage areas and equipment are sanitized and maintained.Follow and help enforce all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, including HACCP standards.Stock Management:Receive, unpack, and correctly store food and supplies.Monitor stock levels, check "sell-by" dates, and rotate stock as needed.Assist with inventory checks and report shortages to the kitchen manager.Team Collaboration and Support:Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.Assist senior chefs with their tasks and follow their directions.Participate in training and mentoring new team members when necessary.Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.Skills and QualificationsEssential:Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Strong commitment to health, safety, and hygiene standards.Good communication skills.Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks.Eagerness to learn and follow instructions.Desirable:Previous experience in a kitchen, food service, or hospitality setting.Basic Food Hygiene certificate.Experience handling kitchen equipment and appliances.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From €13.50 per hourWork Location: In person
