About the position
Join a successful and growing aircraft lessor in a new position that will bring great exposure to all aspects of aircraft technical management. The main responsibilities include technical analysis and maintenance cost forecasting of the assets over the lease term, analysing and constant development of the company's technical business models, asset management and aircraft records management of the fleet, analysing aircraft maintenance data and maintaining the maintenance cost database.
Applicants are required to be resident and authorised to work in Ireland.
Description of role
* Recording of lease technical conditions, specifications and utilisation in the company's asset management system
* Analysing, modelling, and pricing aircraft transitions
* Reviewing and monitoring the AD/SB status of aircraft and engines
* Attendance and oversight of aircraft undergoing major maintenance events and storage
* Work with the technical staff to manage MR claims through the review and approval process
* Supporting technical and underwriting personnel
* Review monthly aircraft utilization reports
* Support review of technical invoices
* Manage lease and document management systems
* Maintain current specs of all assets
Desired Skills and Experience
* Relevant degree level qualification with 3-6 years technical experience within an aircraft lessor, MRO, OEM, or airline
* Knowledge of aircraft/engine technical records requirements
* Experience of maintenance planning
* Knowledgeable user of asset management software
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – highly competent user of Microsoft Excel
* A collaborative approach to deal management
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Great attention to detail with strong numeracy skills
* Ability to create and maintain excellent relationships with key external investors and internal executive level stakeholders
* A positive team approach, capable of working on own initiative
* Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and escalate issues
* Process oriented but with a flexible approach
