We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Social Care Worker to join our team in Trim, Co. Meath.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Social Care Worker to make a real difference in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities.
The successful candidate will have a strong person-centred approach and will play a critical role in facilitating and supporting individuals in our Day Services while upholding our core values of providing respectful, progressive, professional, and positive services.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, innovative, and possess strong problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to empowering the individuals we support, promoting a high-quality service that helps them lead fulfilling lives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Facilitating and supporting individuals in our Day Services
* Up-holding our core values of providing respectful, progressive, professional, and positive services
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent care and support
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* QQI Level 7/8 Bachelor's Degree in Social Care or a related field (e.g., Psychology)
* Registration with CORU or started the application process for registration
* Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word
* Full, clean manual driving licence (essential requirement)
* Prior experience of working in disability services (desirable)
* Knowledge of New Directions Services & Supports for adults with disabilities (advantageous)
