Job Description
As an Engineering Project Manager, you will oversee various engineering projects from conception to completion. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and deliver projects successfully. This involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure they are updated on project progress and any issues that may arise.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage and deliver multiple engineering projects simultaneously
* Coordinate with internal teams and third-party labor to execute projects efficiently
* Maintain open communication channels with team members to ensure project goals are met
* Source materials and negotiate with suppliers to meet project requirements
* Collaborate with site teams to implement projects quickly and with minimal disruption
* Assist with budgeting and cost analysis for engineering projects
Requirements
You will need the following qualifications and skills to excel in this role:
**Qualifications:
* Degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Project management experience
* Several years of industry experience in a similar role
* Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and processes
* Previous experience in water treatment or automation is desirable but not essential
**Required Skills:**
* Ability to analyze situations and troubleshoot problems
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* High technical ability and attention to detail
* Competence in using technology, including Excel and AutoCAD
* Organizational skills, including managing conflicting priorities
* Able to work under pressure and on own initiative
* Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel when required
