Leitrim, we deliver high-quality steel solutions and industrial engineering services to manufacturing facilities.We are seeking a Site Supervisor/Foreman to lead site work in industrial installations, and maintenance operations on client sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, motivated leader with strong technical skills and experience supervising site crews.The RoleThe Site Supervisor/Foreman will oversee and actively participate in:Structural Steel Installation: Supervising and assisting with the on-site installation of structural steelwork, including access platforms, stairways, walkways, handrails, and industrial support structures.Industrial Engineering Services: Leading a range of tasks such as industrial equipment/machinery installations, facility engineering maintenance during shutdowns and planned maintenance including welding repairs and onsite fabrication.Crew Management: Supervising and guiding the site team, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in all tasks.You will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget whilst upholding health and safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, lead, and work alongside the site crew in installation and other industrial engineering services.Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide site work.Plan daily tasks, allocate work to team members, and ensure targets are met.Ensure site operations comply with all safety standards and company policies.Maintain high-quality workmanship and resolve on-site challenges efficiently.Coordinate with the workshop and management to ensure smooth job progress.Oversee tools, equipment, and material usage, ensuring proper maintenance and availability.Essential RequirementsProven experience in a supervisory role for site-based steel installations or industrial installations.Strong hands-on skills in steel fabrication, machinery installations, or industrial maintenance.Good working knowledge of MIG and stick (arc) welding for on-site installation and repair worksAbility to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to site operations.Full Irish/EU driving licence.Benefits3.30pm finish on FridaysExtra Leave: 8 additional paid service days per year, on top of standard annual leaveJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Additional leaveEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:County Leitrim: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Application question(s):Do you have experience and a strong knowledge of working in steel fabrication and mechanical fitting industry?Language:English (required)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
