Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to join our team. As a specialist in complex mental health issues, you will provide assessment and formulation of treatment plans for clients with trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out comprehensive psychological assessments using clinical interview, psychometrics, and other methods sensitively and independently with clients presenting with complex mental health issues.
* Conduct effective risk assessment and management.
* Develop and provide evidence-based short-term models of psychological treatment, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
* Manage your caseload, liaise with the Clinical Lead and Head of Psychological Therapies, and maintain up-to-date clinical records.
* Work as an autonomous professional, adhering to BABCP guidelines and policies, and taking full responsibility for your work and treatment decisions.
* Ensure high standards of professional practice and provide quality interventions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Postgraduate degree in Psychology or related field.
* Accreditation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and experience working with complex mental health issues.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
