The Role of a Youth Care Specialist is to work closely with young people in a residential setting, promoting a safe and supportive environment that fosters positive outcomes. The specialist will be responsible for assisting the Centre Management Team in ensuring the day-to-day management of the centre.

Key Responsibilities include:
">
• Providing frontline care to young people and developing professional relationships with care staff, young people, and their families.
">
• Working directly with the Centre Manager and Deputy Manager in creating and maintaining a warm and accepting environment for young people.
">
• Overseeing key working, reporting progress and issues to the manager, and ensuring files are kept to inspection and registration standards.
">
">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
• A qualification at Level 7 or above, meeting the criteria to register as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
">
• 2 years' full-time relevant experience working at social care grade with children/young persons.
">
• Full manual driving license with eligibility to drive in Ireland.
">
