What You'll Actually Be Doing
Leading the EU Demand Planning Function
You’ll own EU-wide demand consolidation and that means your fingerprints will be on decisions that flow all the way up to Executive S&OP. You’ll manage and mentor a team of Demand Planners, guiding them through recruitment and onboarding and building a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Demand Consensus Meetings
You’ll lead with cross-functional partners from Finance, Product Management, and Business Intelligence, driving alignment on forecast scenarios and making sure every key decision, risk, and opportunity is clearly documented and acted on. When it comes to demand signals—whether that’s competitive intelligence, regulatory timelines, parallel trade dynamics, or reimbursement changes—you’ll be the one synthesizing it all into a forecast that’s accurate, defensible, and actionable.
This means you’ll develop a genuinely broad commercial and scientific understanding of the markets you support, a perspective that’s rare and highly valuable in the industry.
Driving Supply Planning Excellence
You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to prepare and lead Market S&OPs and S&OE processes, ensuring supply strategies are aligned across markets and operational units. When risks emerge—backorders, potential write-offs, supply disruptions—you’ll provide the analysis, the narrative, and the path forward.
You’ll also collaborate with site supply teams and commercial partners to protect customer service levels, manage inventory health, and ensure BMS’s supply chain metrics (OTIF, Customer Service, PWO) are consistently met. In short, when markets need answers, you’ll have them.
Shaping Product Launches
New product introductions are some of the most exciting and complex moments in pharma. You’ll play a key role in ensuring launches land smoothly, partnering with Launch Excellence, Supply Chain Planning Leads, and New Supply Planners to translate market-level demand into site production plans. Your scenario planning work (0‑12 weeks and 0‑12 months) will give the business the confidence it needs to make bold decisions at critical moments.
Influencing Globally
This isn’t a siloed role. You’ll lead cross‑CPSO initiatives spanning Global, Intercon, and APAC teams, shaping demand planning processes, ways of working, and KPI frameworks at an enterprise level. If you’re looking for a platform to grow your global influence and build a reputation as a go‑to leader in supply chain planning, this is it.
