We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our maintenance team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop and implement an effective maintenance strategy
* Undertake hands-on maintenance tasks as required, encompassing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and other areas
* Evaluate and ensure that all team members adhere to strict health and safety protocols and legislative requirements
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in a similar maintenance supervisory role within a hotel or resort environment
* Relevant tertiary qualification or completed training in trades such as electrical work, plumbing and carpentry
Requirements:
* Exceptional leadership skills: ability to motivate and manage a team, delegate tasks and monitor progress
* Practical maintenance skills (or willingness to undertake maintenance duties across various trades)
* Excellent organisational skills; ability to plan, prioritise and schedule work efficiently
