Job Description
Responsible for supporting and enhancing project delivery from a technical perspective. This role reports to a Project Manager or Contracts Manager and is both office- and site-based as required to support project needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion.
* Support senior engineers in preparing technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
* Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project components.
* Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant Irish and EU regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.
* Maintain accurate project records and assist in preparing reports for internal and client use.
* Attend site meetings.
* Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures.
* Compile the Operation and Maintenance Manual, commissioning, and handover process.
* Maintain the company document management system.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and design principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel to project sites within Ireland.
