We are currently seeking experienced and motivated
Social Care Workers
to join our team and play a key role in supporting young people needing care. Opportunities exist in
Louth, Offaly, and Laois
.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the service, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
· Support the implementation of care plans and ensure they are tailored to meet individual needs.
· Monitor compliance with relevant TUSLA legislation, regulations, and organizational policies.
· Deliver high quality, safe, effective, person-centred care and services to all residents
· Complete key working duties as assigned by the Social Care Leader
· Empower residents to exercise their autonomy and independence, including proactively supporting their independence through assisting their ongoing education, training and employment
· Support residents to complete activities of daily living and identify social clubs aligned to their interests e.g. rugby, football, art, dance, drama etc.
Requirements:
· A relevant qualification at Level 7 or higher in Social Care or hold a CORU registration under the Social Care Worker division
· Experience within social care and working with children
· Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in social care.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrated ability to use own initiative
· Commitment to upholding the values of dignity, respect, and person-centred care.
· A compassionate and empathetic style.
