At Pho IE Ltd we are dedicated to offering an authentic Asian dining experience in the heart of Dublin. Our menu celebrates the rich and diverse flavors of Asia, and we are passionate about providing our customers with high-quality food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for 3 motivated and skilled Commis Chefs to join our talented kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes in line with our menu standards.
* Support senior chefs in the cooking process, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and quality.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
* Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, proper storage, and ensuring stock rotation.
* Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
* Assist with the creation and testing of new dishes and menu items with the guidance of head chef.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar kitchen position, ideally in a restaurant offering cuisine.
* Great cooking and knife skills, with a passion for food and cuisine.
* Ability to work efficiently facing pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
* A relevant culinary qualification (e.g. NVQ, culinary diploma, or equivalent) is preferred, but not essential.

* Minimum Experienced Required (Years): 2
* Minimum Qualification: Level 5 (incl Leaving Certificate/ Leaving Certificate Applied/ Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme) OR Culinary Arts, Asian Cuisine, Chinese/Vietnamese Cooking
Desirable
* Ability Skills: Catering, Communications
* Competency Skills: Problem Solving, Teamwork, Working on own Initiative
