Csa Supervisor Job Overview:
This is a pivotal role within our on-site teams, responsible for coordinating numerous projects at a pharma client site.
The primary focus will be on Safety and Health, ensuring the well-being of all persons working on or visiting the site. You will actively promote compliance with the Construction Safety & Health Plan and Environmental Management plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Priorities:
* Ensure Safety & Health remains the top priority for all personnel on site.
* Promote and maintain compliance with the Construction Safety & Health Plan and Environmental Management plans.
* Engage with and coach the workforce on best safety practices.
* Conduct weekly SOR's and SPA audits.
* Participate in the weekly safety audit and meeting, collaborating with the Construction Superintendent and EHS team to review contractors' method statements, SPAs, and permit applications.
Scope and Quality:
* Familiarize yourself with the contract scope, technical documentation package, contract price details, and fabrication/supply/construction programme.
* Monitor the implementation of the Contractors' Quality plan, conducting daily inspections to ensure required standards are met.
* Witness tests or inspections as outlined in the Inspection and Test Plan.
* Track and review contractors' technical RFI's, submittals, purchases, etc., referring to the QA/QC manager or Field Engineering team for input, resolution, or approvals.
* Evaluate First of Kind (FOK) register and samples, ensuring approval and liaison with the Construction Superintendent and material Controller.
Project Close-out:
* Collaborate with the QA/QC/Turnover Manager to review and approve test packs.
* Provide information to the database controller to maintain accurate status reports.
* Participate in system walkdowns, punch-list management, construction close-out, and turnover of systems to clients and/or the C&Q team.
* Review contractors' red-line mark-ups for completeness and accuracy.
Qualifications:
A degree-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is essential. Additional professional qualifications in Engineering or Construction/Project Management are desirable. Experience in Digital Project Delivery is also advantageous.
In terms of experience, we require at least 10 years' involvement in the management of large-scale construction projects and multi-disciplinary construction teams. Relevant experience in specialized industrial sectors such as Life Sciences, Food, Mission Critical & Data-Centres would be highly beneficial.
