Job Description:
The Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is essential to our operational success. As a key member of this team, you will maintain equipment and workspaces while ensuring adherence to Health and Safety best practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on various site equipment
* Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse environment
* Using the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
* Upholding all health and safety policies and practices
* SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRESSION OF ON-SITE APPRENTICES
* Working on continuous improvement projects and rolling out best practices across multiple EU sites
A Day in the Life:
You will be based on-site, allowing for swift response to machinery issues. Your focus will be on carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation of equipment. You will also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigate, find solutions, and implement them as quickly as possible.
In addition, you will make suggestions for long-term improvements and work alongside senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks like painting and plumbing. You will liaise with contractors if external expertise is required.

We handle most aspects of Amazon's technical side, including maintaining buildings to ensure compliance and efficiency. There are opportunities for progression within the RME team and more widely across the organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* NFQ6 (Higher Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Engineering) or Solace/Solas level 6 mechanical/Electrical or Mechatronics
* Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems
* Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems
* Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings
* Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng
* Experience of high voltage switching
* Experience of sortation machines
* Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners
* Experience of print and apply machines
* Experience in fault finding on building equipment i.e HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing and general building maintenance tasks
