Our Partner is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator to join an established engineering team within a world-renowned precision engineering company. The CNC Programmer / Operator will be responsible for programming and operate state of the art CNC machines for the production of precision components for the Medical and Aerospace sectors.Role Overview:The CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC Lathes in the most effective and efficient way to machine parts from design drawings.Key Duties/Responsibilities:Prepare and operate CNC Lathes - FANUC ControllerUnderstand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the lathesSet machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts or one off.Supervise the lathes while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properlyCheck and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality (TPM)Skills and Attributes:Proven experience as lathe operatorProgramming experience using G-Codes and M-CodesSkill in operating lathes machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement toolsExperience in operation/setting CNC lathesKnowledge of controller desired: FANUCExperience in one off/ prototyping environment.Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawingsA keen eye for detail and results-driven approachBenefits:On – Site ParkingSick PayProfessional Development: We are committed to your professional growth, providing opportunities for ongoing training, career development, and advancement within the company.Relocation details:If not in Ireland, the right candidate must be willing to relocate permanently to Ireland.Traveling costs (not reimbursed)Accommodation costs covered by the company for the first 2 monthsFor more available positions, please check our website:Application Process: We aim to respond to all applicants within 10 working days.
