Salary:
Annual salary of £26,403, plus 7.5% employer pension contribution. Annual salary increments are agreed by the Board of Directors.
Contract:
This is a permanent post, subject to receipt of future funding.
Job subject to 6 month probation period.
Holidays:
25 days per year plus statutory holidays.
Hours of work:
37.5 hours per week but willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends is essential.

Main Purpose of Job
To be the main point of contact and support for the EastSide Greenways volunteer team including recruitment, induction and retention through meaningful year-round volunteer opportunities.
To focus on building strong relationships, coordinating volunteer activities, and helping volunteers feel motivated, valued, and connected to the organisations mission.
Summary Of Responsibilities
* Be the key point of contact at EastSide Greenways for volunteer enquiries.
* Be responsible for the recruitment and induction of volunteers.
* Communicate with the volunteer team providing updates on opportunities and requesting feedback and suggestions.
* Communicate with wider the EastSide Partnership projects regarding volunteers and potential opportunities.
* Maintain volunteer team online databases and mailing lists.
* Engage volunteers regularly and identify opportunities for support and development e.g. training, team building and celebrating volunteers.
* Be responsible for volunteering administration including registration forms, rotas, arranging meetings and Access NI if required.
* Lead the coordination of volunteers at events and activities including briefings and debriefings where necessary.
* Undertake administration in relation to volunteering in EastSide Greenways, this includes drafting and maintaining policies, procedures, financial procedures and assessments that guide volunteer behaviour.
* Ensure that Health and Safety procedures and policies are being followed during volunteer activities in accordance with EastSide Partnership Health and Safety Policy, undertake risk assessments for activities where necessary, escalating to Manager as required.
* Attend and contribute to relevant initiatives, forums and networks to support partnership working and enhance the collaborative work of EastSide Greenways.
* Assist in the design and production of communication and marketing materials.
* Ensure compliance with the organisational, financial and administrative requirements of EastSide Partnership
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as required
