Maintenance Technician HVAC (Air Conditioning) Location: Dublin Employment Type: Full-time, permanent Salary: DOE Role Overview We are seeking a motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.
This role is ideally suited to a recently qualified refrigeration & air conditioning technician (4th year apprentice or newly qualified) who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced commercial service environment.
The successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and basic fault diagnosis on mainstream air conditioning systems including split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems across commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance on: Split and multi-split AC systems VRV / VRF systems Wall-mounted and ceiling cassette units Fan coil units Perform filter changes, coil cleaning, condensate checks, and operational testing Record refrigerant usage and ensure F-Gas compliance Complete digital service reports accurately and in a timely manner Identify minor faults and escalate complex issues to senior engineers Maintain van stock and tools to a professional standard Communicate professionally with clients on-site Essential Requirements Refrigeration & Air Conditioning trade qualification (or 4th year apprentice) Valid F-Gas Category 1 certification (preferred) Understanding of refrigeration cycle fundamentals Ability to carry out independent PPM visits Full clean driving licence Strong work ethic and professional attitude Desirable Experience Experience working on Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Toshiba or similar systems Exposure to VRV/VRF diagnostics Basic electrical fault-finding skills Experience in commercial service environments What We Offer Structured progression pathway to Senior HVAC Engineer Ongoing manufacturer training Company vehicle & fuel card Company phone / tablet Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within an expanding HVAC business Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who: Wants long-term career development Takes pride in quality workmanship Is reliable and self-motivated Works well independently and within a team
