About the Role
This exciting opportunity enables you to work in a supportive, person-centred team environment. As a Social Care Worker, your primary responsibility will be to promote independence, inclusion, and dignity in a nurturing residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Emotional and Behavioural Support: Employ positive behaviour support strategies to help individuals manage emotional and behavioural challenges.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records including daily notes, incident reports, and updates to care plans.
* Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Liaise with families, healthcare providers, community services, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
* Health and Well-being Monitoring: Provide support with medication, appointments, and overall physical and mental health needs.
* Promoting Rights and Advocacy: Empower individuals to understand and exercise their rights, and advocate on their behalf when needed.
Requirements
* Minimum of a Level 7 qualification in Social Care CORU registration must be at least in-process A valid full driver's licence and own car availability One year of experience working with vulnerable adults is essential.
