1. Role Purpose Reporting to the Head of HR, the Senior Business Partner (SNBP) will provide expert leadership for the Human Resources function within the organisation.
The SNBP is pivotal in transforming the department into a proactive, data-driven business partnering model, setting exacting standards by overseeing critical safeguarding investigations, streamlining workflows through Strandum, and elevating Management Information (MI) reporting.
2. Key Accountability Pillars Strategic Leadership Team Development Provide leadership as a senior member of the HR team, ensuring that HR strategies are closely aligned with the mission, vision, and core values of The Talbot Group.
Serve as a point of expertise for the HR team by proactively coaching and developing HR Generalists and Administrators.
Support the team's professional growth to meet established HRBP standards through ongoing mentoring, shadowing, case reviews, and structured guidance.
Safeguarding "Trust in Care" (TiC) Function as the lead investigator for complex and sensitive Trust in Care (TiC) and safeguarding investigations.
Oversee all investigations with the highest degree of integrity and precision, ensuring prompt initiation of screening processes and timely delivery of findings.
Digital Transformation Strandum Optimization Lead the continuous evaluation and enhancement of HR systems in response to evolving organisational needs, acting as the principal "Super-User" for the Strandum HRIS platform.
Identify and eliminate manual administrative processes by migrating them to automated Strandum workflows, including onboarding, performance appraisals, and self-service portals.
Develop and maintain comprehensive MI Dashboards, translating data such as turnover, absence, and compliance metrics into actionable insights for the Senior Management Team (SMT).
Workforce Planning, Recruitment Retention Collaborate in the design and delivery of workforce programs that sustain existing services while addressing new service developments and evolving service-user requirements.
Ensure robust succession planning for all critical positions.
Deploy evidence-based strategies to optimise staff retention and engagement across the organisation.
3. Operational Responsibilities Advise senior management on all HR matters, managing grievances and disciplinary issues in accordance with established policies.
Maintain high visibility and active engagement with employees at all levels and sites to foster trust and accurately gauge organisational culture.
Play a significant role in the development and implementation of person-centred HR policies that reflect current best practices.
4. Candidate Profile Education Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or an equivalent relevant qualification.
At least six years of senior-level HR experience, ideally within a multi-site, high-compliance sector such as Healthcare or Social Care.
Advanced proficiency with HRIS platforms, particularly Strandum, and proven ability to develop professional MI dashboards.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence effectively.
