Job Title: Financial Leadership Manager
We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead our organisation's financial operations. As a commercially focused Financial Leadership Manager, you will be responsible for driving financial excellence and making strategic decisions that impact the business.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
• Leading and managing the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective control.
• Consolidating and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Driving improvements in ERP usage, focusing on automation and efficiency to enhance financial processes.
• Overseeing the external audit process, maintaining strong relationships with auditors and advisors.
• Managing cash flow, debt financing, and covenant reporting with a proactive and detail-driven approach.
• Providing strategic financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring tax compliance and managing external reporting in collaboration with advisors and payroll providers.
• Leading and developing a small finance team, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in a similar role within a multi-entity or complex organisational structure, preferably in a private equity environment or leveraged business.
• Strong audit background and experience managing external audit processes.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a small team, skilled in financial analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Strong communicator with the confidence to work across all levels of the organisation, possessing a high level of personal drive, initiative, and ability to get things done.
