We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Purchasing and Stock Control Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and terms, and building strong rapport with suppliers. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the purchasing and stock control functions and will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, processing stock orders, sourcing new products, and ensuring accurate and efficient stock control at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods
* Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve best value
* Build strong rapport with suppliers to ensure seamless communication
* Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking and understocking
* Process stock orders in a timely and efficient manner
* Sourcing new products to meet customer demand
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a purchasing or similar role is highly advantageous
* Strong stock control skills with a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency
* Proven ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
* Confident in negotiating with suppliers to achieve best value
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
