Electronics Engineering Leadership Opportunity
Job Description:
The successful candidate will lead the development of electronic systems for medical devices, overseeing design, testing, manufacturing, documentation and more. Key responsibilities include architecture definition, requirements specification, prototype design, risk assessment, manufacturing specification, schematic creation and PCB design.
The position requires close collaboration with external contractors and suppliers, as well as preparation of compliance packages, including IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-11. Product verification activities, such as creating verification plans and test protocols, are also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
* 5+ years experience in Medical Devices environment with knowledge of product development, certification and manufacturing processes
* Highly competent in Analog and Digital Electronics design
* Experience with OrCAD platform and RF technologies
* Knowledge of IEC 60601-1 standard series
Additional qualifications include working knowledge of IEC 62304 and experience with firmware (C/C++ coding). A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills is also required.
