Practice Accountant Main focus will be on accounts preparation, management accounting, and providing expert advice to clients on running efficient, sustainable, and profitable businesses. You will work closely with partners and clients, developing strong relationships while contributing to the continued growth and stability of the practice. Key Responsibilities: Prepare year-end accounts for a wide range of clients. Produce management accounts and financial reports. Provide practical, commercially focused advice to clients. Support clients in improving financial systems, controls, and profitability. Liaise directly with clients on queries, deadlines, and ongoing advisory work. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Work collaboratively within a small, supportive team environment. You will be responsible for supporting tax compliance, strategy and planning across the organisation What you'll need to succeed Practice experience is essential; a formal qualification (ACCA/CPA/ACA) is beneficial but not required. Experience in accounts preparation within a practice environment. Strong technical accounting skills with knowledge of Irish accounting standards. Excellent communication and some client-facing experience. A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach to work. Problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
