Stelfox is seeking highly skilled Python Developers to collaborate with our client in Dublin, Ireland.
We are looking for five talented individuals to join multiple projects on a six-month initial contract term, rolling into long-term contracts, with competitive daily rates and flexible work arrangements, comprising 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for designing efficient back-end features using Python, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
You will write clean, efficient, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. Furthermore, you will collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional code.
In addition, you will optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficient algorithms.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement efficient back-end features in Python.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
* Work alongside UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional code.
* Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficient algorithms.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Python Developer.
* In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks, and tools.
* Strong experience in relational database/SQL.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
* Excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in an Agile development environment.
* Strong Linux/UNIX experience.
* Experience with popular Python frameworks such as Flask and Django.
* Experience building RESTful web APIs.
