Job Advert About the role An opportunity has arisen for a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer to develop their career within aviation safety regulation by joining the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry (IOMAR) as an Airworthiness Surveyor.
The Isle of Man Aircraft Registry is an internationally recognised registry, supporting a diverse range of aircraft and operators worldwide.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the oversight of airworthiness standards within a respected regulatory environment.
The Airworthiness Surveyor will undertake surveys of aircrafts and make recommendations for the issue of Certificates of Airworthiness.
Surveys will be conducted using remote digital communication technologies from the Isle of Man, as well as through on-site physical surveys at locations around the world.
The role also includes responding to general airworthiness technical enquiries and processing applications for authorisations and permissions.
This position is well suited to an experienced aircraft maintenance engineer seeking to apply their technical knowledge within a regulatory context and to play a key role in maintaining international aviation safety standards.
