A considerable amount of the work we do involves learning how things work and building content to teach others.We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our Product Specialist and Technical Enablement team within the Product Management organization. This is a customer-facing role that requires a technically seasoned person with a deep understanding of and experience with virtual desktops and applications delivered using products like Omnissa Horizon or Citrix. You will play a key role in enabling our customers, partners, and internal technical staff by creating technical guidance that will be published on our premier technical enablement platform: https:// techzone.omnissa.com. You will also deliver technical enablement content to both internal and external audiences.* **Content Creation:** Create technical content for TechZone including writing point-in-time blogs, creating evaluation and design guides, and developing reference architectures. Develop detailed PowerPoint decks for the enablement of technical audiences both internal and external. Create prescriptive product documentation for customer self-enablement. Help guide the decision process for what content will have the most impact on our business through enabling internal and external technical practitioners.* **Customer Engagement:** Act as a subject matter expert on our solutions during customer engagements. Engage with our customers in Omnissa Communities. Present technical content that helps the sales process or implementation and operation of our solutions.* **Travel and Presentation:** Represent the company at industry conferences, customer meetings, and events. Travel frequently to engage with customers and partners, presenting technical solutions.* **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with product management, marketing, field technical sales, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on enablement content needs and messaging. Stay engaged with these teams to get necessary content for new releases and to fill gaps in enablement that exist on our solutions.* **Enablement:** Create enablement courses that will be used by internal and external audiences. Prepare slides, audio narration, assessments, and build out labs as needed. Work with the learning management team to ensure they get courses into the learning management system and assigned as directed. Deliver in person and live web-based enablement.**Qualifications:*** **Technical Expertise:** Knowledge and hands-on experience with a VDI solution such as Omnissa Horizon, Citrix, or Azure Virtual Desktop. Familiarity with other solutions in the end user computing space is a plus. Familiarity with Windows operating system and lifecycle management tools is a plus. Exposure to different infrastructure platforms and hypervisors is a plus.* **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and explain new technologies to other people. The position will require not only learning and understanding our technology through your own hands-on work with it but also explaining it to practitioners who need to understand it.* **Communication Skills:** Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences and write documents that clearly explain complex technical concepts. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary for success in this role.* **Customer-Focused:** Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.* **Travel:** Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including international travel as needed.* **Experience:** 3-5+ years of relevant experience in VDI solutions, product management, or technical marketing in the end user computing software industry.* **Impactful Work:** Contribute to cutting-edge solutions that shape the future of end user computing.* **Supportive Leadership:** This role is in the Product Management organization structure.
