About the Role:
As Reception Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the front desk (5 in the team), ensuring each guest receives a seamless and welcoming experience. You'll lead a passionate team, deliver 4-star service standards, and play a key role in staff training, time and attendance management, and performance monitoring. Your leadership will be essential in creating a warm, organised, and guest-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the front desk team to deliver an exceptional guest experience, both in person and over the phone
* Ensure smooth shift operations and uphold all company standards
* Manage reservations and maximise room revenue through up-selling
* Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and proactively
* Supervise staff scheduling, timekeeping, and performance management
* Ensure compliance with all financial procedures, health & safety regulations, and hotel SOPs
* Liaise with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
* Participate in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a reception supervisory or management role within a hotel environment
* A natural leader with a customer-first mindset
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in front office systems and booking platforms (training provided if needed)
