Storm Recruitment are partnering with our client, a not-for-profit organisation based in East Cork City, to recruit an experienced Nurse. This role involves providing clinical leadership and high-quality, person-centred care within the Daycare Centre. This purpose of this role is to support clients and their carers, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment that promotes wellbeing and dignity.

Working hours:
30 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, plan and deliver appropriate nursing care.
* Develop and monitor individual care plans.
* Provide personal and clinical care including dressings, vital signs, glucose checks and medication administration.
* Build supportive relationships with clients and their families.
* Liaise with GPs, care coordinators and other healthcare professionals to meet client needs.
* Maintain accurate records, including care updates and incidents.
* Promote engaging activities and a positive environment for clients.
* Supervise and support staff and volunteers in the centre.
* Manage rosters, duties, induction, and ongoing training.
* Conduct performance reviews and ensure policies are applied consistently.
* Encourage an open, learning-focused culture within the team.
* Support student placements and maintain training records.
* Maintain complete client files from referral to discharge.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and service standards.
* Contribute to continuous quality improvement and risk management.
* Liaise with families and external professionals as required.
* Support community engagement and service promotion initiatives.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse (NMBI).
* Strong client focus and commitment to person-centred care.
* Empathy, respect, and excellent communication skills.
* Strong clinical observation and decision-making skills.
* Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
* Good organisational and administrative skills.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and the Irish healthcare system.
* Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.
* Supervisory or management experience
