Job Description
CubeMatch is seeking a seasoned Finance Data Delivery Lead to manage and drive the delivery of Finance data solutions across both Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and non-EDW data sources. This role plays a critical function in aligning data delivery across Finance, the Group Data Office, and central testing functions, ensuring consistency with wider enterprise goals. The successful candidate will bring extensive enterprise IT experience, strong leadership skills, and deep knowledge of database and ETL technologies, combined with a passion for delivering high-quality, transparent, and business-aligned data outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of Finance data, spanning both EDW and non-EDW data sources, ensuring timely, accurate, and fit-for-purpose data solutions.
* Partner closely with Finance Leadership, peer delivery teams, and key cross-bank functions to ensure delivery is aligned to business priorities and regulatory demands.
* Build and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture within a distributed team of 5–10 FTEs (Ireland and abroad), promoting continuous, high-quality delivery.
* Ensure alignment with the Group Data Office and central Test functions, embedding best practices across data delivery and governance.
* Own and manage the underlying data delivery roadmap, providing clear visibility and transparency for stakeholders.
* Support the continuous evolution of the data delivery framework to meet changing enterprise and regulatory requirements.
* Act as a key advocate for data excellence within the Finance domain, ensuring delivery strategies are scalable, compliant, and resilient.
Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Experience in enterprise IT environments, with a strong focus on data delivery, engineering, and enterprise data strategy.
* Deep understanding of data warehousing, databases, SQL, and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Teradata, etc.).
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams in Agile or hybrid environments.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior leadership and cross-functional peers.
* Experience in managing data programs with regulatory, financial, or enterprise reporting impact.
* Excellent planning and communication skills, with a track record of transparent and effective delivery oversight.
