Overview
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Dublin, reporting to the Director of Corporate Services – People, Culture and Transformation. The role includes a six-month probation period, with hybrid working arrangements available upon successful completion. The position involves a 37-hour work week.
Salary Scale: €82,529 to €96,417 depending on experience
Benefits: Pension, Annual performance review, 23 days Annual Leave + 2-3 Company Days, Hybrid Working
Overall Package: to €110k

Purpose of the Role
The HR Manager will be a key figure in supporting the organisation’s mission and social impact, ensuring alignment with relevant legislation and the principles of a registered charity and Approved Housing Body. This role calls for a strategic thinker with a creative mindset, who is approachable and committed to developing a positive and inclusive culture rooted in the organisation’s values.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business needs, offering expert advice and guidance organisation-wide.
* Promote effective internal communication, using digital tools and in-person engagement to reflect the organisation’s values and direction.
* Champion cultural transformation initiatives that support an inclusive, high-performing work environment.
* Oversee talent acquisition, ensuring a seamless recruitment and onboarding process, while managing all related stakeholders.
* Implement and maintain a performance management framework focused on clear objectives, feedback, and alignment with strategic goals.
* Coordinate learning and development programs to meet both statutory and professional growth requirements.
* Develop and manage a comprehensive succession planning strategy across the organisation.
* Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, handling conflicts with empathy and professionalism.
* Ensure all HR policies comply with current legislation and employment law.
* Leverage data and digital tools to inform HR decisions and enhance the employee experience, while leading innovation in HR practices.
* Administer compensation and benefits processes, including gross payroll and communication of entitlements in line with budgets.
* Prepare and manage HR budgets, ensuring compliance with internal governance and statutory timelines.
* Support managers with tools and training for effective and inclusive people management.
* Model excellent service standards as part of the corporate services function.
* Bring a collaborative, forward-thinking approach to contribute meaningfully to both organisational outcomes and the experience of tenants.
Qualifications and Experience
* A degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
* Chartered CIPD membership
* At least three years’ experience in a senior HR role
* Strong background in contract management and organisational transformation, including TUPE
* In-depth understanding of HR and industrial relations frameworks
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with AI-based applications
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Experience in the housing, charitable, or not-for-profit sectors
