We are seeking a highly skilled OSI PI Engineer to join our team. As an OSI PI Engineer, you will be working on site-based projects in Cork, focusing on the implementation and support of Pharma 4.0 architectures and solutions covering IT, OT, and IoT applications, infrastructures, and services.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in software engineering with a strong background in systems analysis and software development within the pharmaceutical industry. The role requires expertise in OSI Data Historian Systems, Control Systems, and Process Analysis, as well as excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
* Design and Implementation: Designing and implementing highly reliable and large-scale systems with HA collectives and federated designs
* PI Server Management: Installing, configuring, validating, and tuning PI Servers and interfaces
* Analytic Solutions: Implementing analytic solutions with PI Asset Framework Analytics, PI ACE, PI Notifications, and Performance Equations
* Client Software Installation: Installing and tailoring client software including Coresight, ProcessBook, DataLink, Rtreports, and PI WebParts
* System Integration: Working with PLC and DCS-based control systems, building management systems, and/or energy management systems
The successful candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in IT, Automation, Science, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience, and OSIsoft PI Historian training and certification. Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLC, OPC, Continuous/Batch Historians, MES systems, and DCS-based control systems is also required. In addition, expertise in SQL databases, network security, TCP/IP protocol, and GxP documentation is desirable.
