About the Role
Samsic Facility Ireland is seeking an experienced and proactive Mobile Building Services Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines building maintenance, vendor coordination, and non-technical handyman services across our properties. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of building systems, a safe and comfortable environment for occupants, and full compliance with health, safety, and maintenance standards.
You will work closely with our dedicated Facilities Account Manager and a range of specialist vendors to deliver best-in-class building operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities including repairs and preventative maintenance.
* Act as the main contact for building occupants, handling queries and ensuring satisfaction.
* Perform visual daily checks on building systems, including Fire Alarms, BMS, Backup Power, and Security Systems.
* Conduct weekly fire alarm tests and daily plantroom inspections.
* Coordinate external vendors and contractors, ensuring safety compliance and timely work completion.
* Assist with cleaning standards, rubbish removal, emergency route maintenance, and general building upkeep.
* Support sustainability initiatives by identifying energy efficiency and waste reduction opportunities.
* Carry out non-technical handyman services (e.g., light bulb replacements, minor painting, furniture moves).
* Support office configuration projects including furniture assembly, relocation, and set-ups.
* Collaborate with the Facilities Account Manager to maintain open communication and address issues.
* Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a similar building services or maintenance role is an advantage.
* Familiarity with building systems operations is highly desirable.
* Strong relationships with industry supply chain partners a plus.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Strong interpersonal skills and confidence dealing with building occupants and vendors.
* Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive with strong attention to detail.
* Flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
