Job Overview:
The Sales Advisor is responsible for delivering sales of Personal Lines, Agri, and Commercial Business.
The role involves assisting in the overall running of the Sales Office to deliver superior customer care service that meets agreed sales results while enhancing the local FBD Brand.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be proactive in achieving individual sales targets, including prospecting, up-selling, and cross-selling of Personal Lines/Commercial/Agri business.
2. Deal with customer queries and refer unresolved/technical queries to relevant personnel.
3. Evaluate all systems and procedures as laid down by the Company are complied with.
4. Accrue and maintain comprehensive up-to-date knowledge and information of the Company's commercial product range and compliance requirements.
5. Complete relevant industry qualifications and CPD hours as appropriate.
6. Work flexibly within the Sales Office and participate in various office tasks which may include going to the Mart.
7. Provide relief to other Sales Offices in the region, as required.
8. Develop mutually beneficial working relationships and work closely with the local FBD Life and Pension Financial Advisor to continuously enhance the overall FBD Group service delivery to customers.
9. Participate in account management initiatives for Commercial and Agri business.
10. Partake in ongoing renewal follow-ups/revisions; identify sales opportunities, cover/rate improvements, as appropriate.
11. Assist customers at the initial notification of claims stage, in line with company procedures.
12. Take responsibility for individual outstanding debit/premium collections.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Provide dedicated support to the Sales Executive/Branch Manager, as directed.
2. Administer Personal Lines/Commercial/Agri business as required.
3. Carry out such duties as management may require from time to time.
Requirements:
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent and/or a relevant third-level qualification
* Qualified to Approved Product Advisor (APA), Approved Product Professional (APP), Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) or Grandfathered Accreditation is desired however assistance will be given to obtain this qualification within the timeframes outlined by the Central Bank of Ireland.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Previous insurance/financial services experience would be advantageous
