Role of the Junior Estimator

The junior estimator will assist in commercial control of projects by ensuring accurate budgeting, cash flow management and timely project completion. This role is ideal for individuals who are keen to learn and develop their skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities:

The junior estimator will be responsible for:
* Preparing and managing budgets for various projects,
* Coordinating with the design team to ensure accurate quantity measurements and contract compliance,
* Analyzing subcontractor packages and preparing tender enquiry documents,
* Attending pre-appointment meetings with subcontractors to clarify scope and terms,
* Validating interim applications and final submissions from sub-contractors,
* Tracking changes on the change order/varyation schedule.
The junior estimator will also participate in internal meetings, prepare valuations reports, cost value reconciliation reports, complete project reports.
The individual must maintain effective relationships with design team professionals, clients representatives throughout the project term.
